Compensation: $30-$45/hour DOE + Overtime + Company Benefits

A growing commercial electrical contractor is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support a strong pipeline of commercial construction projects throughout the Kansas City metro area.
This role is ideal for electricians who enjoy working on large-scale commercial projects, take pride in quality workmanship, and want long-term career stability with a well‑established contractor.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings
- Install conduit, cable tray, wire, lighting, switch gear, panels, and electrical equipment
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and project specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, apprentices, and other trades
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Complete projects according to schedule and quality standards
- 3+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and installations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Experience with conduit bending and installation
- Experience installing switch gear, panels, lighting, and power distribution systems
- Knowledge of NEC and jobsite safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
