LEHR is seeking individuals with 12V wiring electronics and hardware experience to join our Kansas team as an Installation 12V Technician
.
- Install new and refurbished 12-volt electronics according to customer specifications and company protocols
- Mount hardware equipment such as cages, push bumpers, and equipment boxes
- Remove or repair defective components (e.g., blown fuses, emergency equipment malfunctions)
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems; diagnose wiring, relays, lighting, sirens, and other safety control issues
- Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems; replace fuses, cables, and power distribution components as necessary
- Document installation and service activities in compliance with company policies
- Perform post-installation tests to ensure proper functionality
- Provide professional customer service
- Maintain a self‑driven workflow to meet allocated build‑time targets
- Minimum 2 years’ experience – 12 Volt electronics (wiring, relays, and diodes) and disassembling vehicle interior/exterior (panels, dashboards, grilles, headlights, and taillights)
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics
- Ability to work with hand and power tools
- Capability to bend, twist, reach, and lift to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Strong Work Ethic
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Capacity to work independently and/or in a team environment
- Energetic, personable, and positive—must work well with a diverse clientele and team; a good sense of humor is a plus
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- $18-$24 per hour, depending on experience
