Position Summary…What you’ll do…

Assists other Maintenance Technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment by:

• Supporting equipment repair and maintenance activities.
• Working collaboratively to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

• Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Completes work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents in accordance with established procedures.

• Maintains and repairs building facilities, including:
  • Plumbing systems
  • General construction projects
  • Painting and facility upkeep

• Operates material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment safely and effectively.

• Assists with the use, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste, including cleaning chemicals.
• Follows company policies, procedures, and safety regulations when working with hazardous materials.

Performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs on equipment, including:

• Production equipment
• Lift trucks
• Pneumatic systems
• Material handling equipment
• Hydraulic equipment
• Dock equipment
• Electronic equipment
• Electrical equipment
• HVAC units
• Facilities and grounds equipment
  
  Responsibilities include:
• Following company policies and procedures.
• Identifying and addressing basic equipment issues.
• Supporting efforts to minimize downtime and maintain operational effectiveness.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by:

• Implementing related action plans.
• Utilizing the Open Door Policy.
• Applying ethical standards in the execution of business processes and practices.
• Supporting a culture of accountability, compliance, and integrity.

Completes work assignments and priorities by:

• Utilizing established policies, data, and available resources.
