Maintenance, Building Maintenance

Heritage Avonlea of Olathe is seeking a Director of Maintenance for our Assisted Living Community. Health care facility maintenance experience is helpful but bot required . General knowledge of property management with electrical, plumbing, and floor installation is required. HVAC experience is a plus.

• Repair/replacement of faucets, toilets, clogged pipes.
• Replacing/adding additional lighting to existing circuits.
• Installation of vinyl flooring and carpet squares
• Drywall/painting.
• Monthly fire drills, smoke detector checks, water temp checks.
• Scheduling outside contractors when necessary.
• Fan coil unit troubleshooting.
• Light kitchen equipment repair.
• Responds to and completes resident work orders, insuring the quality of service to maximum resident satisfaction.
• General day-to-day maintenance.

• Vacation, sick pay , health insurance plan.

This position is Monday-Friday full time with required on-call for emergency problems.

Candidate should be organized, outgoing, friendly, have basic computer skills, and have good communication skills.
