Programmer Analyst III

• Assist the Development Manager with all aspects of software design, data management, and programming.
• Attend and contribute to development conference calls with staff.
• Learn the codebase and improve skill set.
• Write and maintain code and data structures.
• Work on bug fixes.
• Monitor the technical performance of internal systems.
• Respond to requests and issues with internal software from staff.
• Perform data investigation and ad hoc reports.
• Be responsible for software testing.
• Assist staff with basic IT issues.

• See projects through their full application lifecycle: discuss, plan, develop, test, deploy, train, maintain.
• Repository management for development and staging branches.
• Assist in production server maintenance & database management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with PHP, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, SQL, and Windows.
• Basic experience with Git.
• Basic IT & networking skills.
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.

• Development background in the insurance industry.
• Technical documentation generation.
• Familiarity with Laravel or similar PHP frameworks.
• Experience in all aspects of systems analysis, general systems design, and detailed system design.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to ask questions and follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and resourceful with the ability to find solutions independently.

• Normal office, 8‑5 M‑F; must be able to work in office full time.
• Minimal supervision.
