M-F Driver Fed Ex Ground (local delivery; Home for Dinner!) (Shawnee, KS)

QIC is looking for a fast‑paced Fed Ex Pick‑up & Delivery Driver. You will work independently, delivering a wide variety of packages to businesses and residential homes, driving a well‑maintained Fed Ex vehicle and participating in a positive QIC team atmosphere. A QIC schedule is designed to allow you to be home for dinner, with opportunities to work full‑time or part‑time on a 1–5 day per week cycle.

A typical day begins at the terminal between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., where you complete a pre‑trip inspection and ensure the truck is efficiently loaded, often with the help of Fed Ex loaders. Once loaded, you drive out to the delivery area in western Shawnee and Lenexa to complete deliveries of packages ranging from small to large (up to 150 lb). The position requires physical activity such as bending, lifting, and operating dollies for larger items.

At the end of the shift, you return the truck to the terminal, with routes planned to finish by 5:00–5:30 p.m., often earlier.

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• No CDL required
• Pre‑employment drug screen (no marijuana or medicinal marijuana allowed) and background check with no DUI or felony convictions
