Your Mission
- Serve as the final authority for all aspects of aircraft operation, decision‑making, and risk management.
- Plan, brief, and execute each flight in full compliance with all applicable FARs, company manuals, and Part 135 procedures.
- Lead effective crew coordination, fostering clear communication and a just‑culture safety mindset.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, fuel planning, and weather/NOTAM analysis.
- Ensure exceptional passenger care, from a polished cabin experience to proactive, concierge‑level service.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports using flight planning and aviation management software.
- Continuously assess operational risks and apply mitigation strategies in dynamic environments.
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- PIC Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- Instrument (IFR) Time: 250 hours
- Certificates: ATP (FAA)
- Medical:
Class 1 - Type Rating:
Not required — training provided (NTR)
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, flight planning, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Calm, decisive leadership with excellent communication in high‑tempo or changing conditions.
- Proficiency with modern flight planning and aviation management software tools.
- Uncompromising standards for safety, professionalism, and passenger service.
- 250 hours PIC in type (Hawker 4000).
- Previous Part 135 experience.
- Command a high‑performance midsize business jet with the support of a safety‑first culture.
- Lead from the front—owning decisions, mentoring crew, and elevating the passenger experience.
- Stable utilization (~350 hours/year) with training provided for candidates not yet typed.
- Operate from KIXD with the tools and resources you need to perform at your best.
