Transit Bus Driver - Part Time (Ida County)
Location:
Cherokee, IA (Preferably residing in Cherokee or Ida County)
Siouxland Regional Transit System (SRTS) is seeking a part-time driver to support our demand-responsive, ADA-accessible public transit service. We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused individual who enjoys working with the public and providing excellent customer service.
Position Highlights- Part-time driving position based in Cherokee
- Work independently with a flexible schedule
- Company-issued cell phone (if needed) and tablet provided
- Supportive team and well-maintained fleet
- Routing supported by data-driven, automated scheduling software
- Class C CDL with Passenger Endorsement required for bus operation
- Chauffeur’s License required for operating a commercial van (where applicable)
- Ability to work independently
