Responsible for managing freight flow in a meat plant environment, ensuring adherence to company policies and cold chain compliance.

• Complete work assignments by utilizing company policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; and recommending improvements.
• Manage freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, lift pacers); identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight; using warehouse management systems, terminal scales, and scanners; and maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy in daily business practices.
• Keep work areas organized and maintain freight flow by stacking and moving empty pallets using manual or powered equipment.
• Monitor freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in material handling or warehousing preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move freight.
