Key Responsibilities

• Complete work assignments by utilizing company policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities and deadlines; carry out tasks; communicate progress; and recommend improvements.
• Manage freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, lift pacers); identify, count, separate, combine, and scan freight; use warehouse management systems, terminal scales, and scanners; and maintain accurate records and logs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy in daily business practices.
• Keep work areas organized and maintain freight flow by stacking and moving empty pallets using manual or powered equipment.
• Monitor freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.
