Position: Warehouse Associate | Spring Hill, KS
Mid Am Building Supply is looking for a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator!

Responsible for loading outbound trucks, unloading and organizing inbound merchandise, and performing general clean-up tasks to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

SCHEDULE8 a.m - 4:45 p.m. (with a 45-minute lunch)
PAY: $21.00/hr ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSUnload building materials from our customers’ and suppliers’ trucks.

Put away or stock inbound materials.

Pull customers’ orders from inventory on hand.

Load company and customer vehicles with outbound materials.

Safely operate a forklift to assist in handling of materials.

Sweep and clean warehouse and pick up trash.

Observe all safety rules: (i.e. safety glasses, ear plugs, Lock Out/Tag Out, etc.).Assist in counting inventory.

Checks in merchandise from receiving documentation.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to read and write so that written instructions and shipping papers can be easily followed and that corrections and needed information can be easily filled.

Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.

Must be able to pass our forklift operators test after a normal training procedure.

Must be able to work in a team environment.

High school diploma or GED required.

Knowledge of building materials a plus.

Physical Requirements The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.

Frequently walk, sit, stand

Frequently lift up to 100 lbs.

Frequently push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Frequently use arm, hand, leg, foot, and grasping motion to operate controls

Lift, push, or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance.
