Warehouse Worker
Fortis Native Group is looking for a Warehouse Worker for an onsite position. This role requires an active DoD Secret level clearance.
Responsibilities- Receiving and Processing Stock:
Warehouse workers handle incoming shipments by unloading, inspecting, labeling, and storing goods accurately to maintain inventory integrity and prevent damage or loss. - Order Fulfillment:
They pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring items are correctly labeled and dispatched on schedule. - Inventory Management:
Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits, and reporting discrepancies or damaged goods are key tasks to ensure stock levels are correct and traceable. - Equipment Operation:
Workers operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely, performing daily inspections and reporting maintenance needs. - Safety and Compliance:
Following safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards is essential. This includes adhering to GMP, HACCP, or other industry-specific guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. - Warehouse Organization:
Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and sanitary is part of the role, including managing storage areas, rotating stock, and optimizing space for efficiency. - Support and Coordination:
Warehouse workers assist supervisors and team members with logistics coordination, training, and workflow management to maintain smooth operations.
- Loading and unloading trucks or shipping containers
- Preparing shipping documents and handling logistics details
- Offloading, checking in, and receiving shipments into inventory systems like SAP
- Assisting with inventory counts and reporting discrepancies
- High school diploma or equivalent is typically preferred.
- Must have and/or be able to maintain an active DoD Secret level clearance.
- Physical capability to lift and handle heavy items.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and equipment operation.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and teamwork.
- Warehouse workers play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to clients, supporting overall supply chain operations, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality in the warehouse environment.
The REAL , requiring a REAL
-compliant driver's license or another accepted form of identification for domestic flights and federal facilities, is May 7, 2025. Any person trying to get on the DMEA site without a REAL , will be turned away.
