**
- ** Exciting Opportunities Await!** - Perform complex CT procedures and showcase your technical expertise.
- Use professional judgment to review and gather patient’s clinical history, ensuring accurate documentation in PACS.
- Prepare, review, and accurately assess the contrast questionnaire with patients or family members, scanning into EPIC.
- Identify and administer contrast media as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
- Review prescriptions to verify the appropriateness of exams and communicate with Radiologists or Referring Physicians for any clarifications.
- Verify insurance authorization for exams and coordinate with Finance for re-verification.
- Collect and schedule outside studies (CD) in EPIC to ensure availability for Radiologists.
- Provide exam copies to patients, requesting physicians, and family members.
- Evaluate radiographs using the PACS System, ensuring they contain proper identification and are diagnostic in nature.
- Gather relevant information from medical records and communicate with all involved parties to prepare protocols for scanning and patient safety.
- Prep patients for scans, ensuring proper shielding and immobilization.
- Determine the type and dose of contrast to be administered.
- Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Perform venipuncture, IV patency, and maintenance procedures in line with established guidelines.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during CT procedures.
- Work a schedule that includes weekends, ensuring flexibility for patient care.
- Lift a minimum of 25 lbs., push/pull a minimum of 50 lbs., and stand for a minimum of 6 hours daily.
- Tailor care to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations, considering age, culture, language, and sensory impairments.
- Adhere to the highest standards of behavior, attendance, and professionalism.
