The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for providing direct care to a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes. • Location: Old Bridge, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Formulate age and disease specific patient/family centered goals/outcomes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation of patient assessments.

• Education:
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required.
  • BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Experience:
  • Six (6) or more months of relevant critical care or OR nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
