The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Hackensack Meridian Health provides direct care to a diverse patient population, focusing on achieving desired health outcomes. Highlights- Location: Old Bridge, NJ
- Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
- Schedule: Full-time, Night shift
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
- Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
- Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
- Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
- Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care.
- Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
- Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
- Adhere to American Nurses Association Code for Nurses.
- Education
- Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required
- BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
- Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program
- Licenses & Certifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire
