About the Role
As a primary health care provider working in collaboration with physicians, the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will assess, diagnose, and manage patient care following established protocols.
What You’ll Be Doing- Obtain and document advanced health and development history.
- Perform and document an advanced physical examination and delineate problems.
- Order and perform special screening and diagnostic tests, analyze data, and take appropriate action.
- Explain procedures and results to patients/families and provide teaching.
- Assist in formulating and implementing care plans, including medication and referrals.
- Seek consult with supervising physician when progress is not as expected.
- Identify and manage acute and chronic illnesses per protocols.
- Document patient assessment and plan of care per Associated Medical Professionals standards.
- Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education.
- Apply correct billing and documentation practices.
- Provide in‑services and education to clinical staff, students, residents, and interns.
- Provide emergency treatment and life‑saving measures (including BLS/CPR, ACLS).
- Provide care at off‑site locations as required.
- Assist in policy development and perform other related duties.
- Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program.
- AANP or ANCC/NCCPA board certification, license, or sufficient state licensure.
- Two years NP/PA experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
- Computer skills for information systems.
The role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and talking or hearing. Lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Work EnvironmentProfessional office setting using standard office equipment, phone, computer, fax, etc.

TravelPrimarily local during business hours; occasional out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected.
