Registered Nurse - Float - Bridge Medical Center - Nights

About This Role

The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This position focuses on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team.

• Location: Old Bridge, NJ
• Facility: Old Bridge Medical Center
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire

• Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program

• Current RN License in New Jersey
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire
