Job Description:
LEARN, Southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, invites candidates to apply for a Long-Term Substitute Pre-Kindergarten Teacher opening at The Friendship School in Waterford, Connecticut. This assignment will begin in March and continue through the end of the school year.
The Long-Term Substitute Pre-Kindergarten Teacher will be responsible for nurturing the growth and development of young learners from diverse backgrounds. This includes integrating the school's play-based philosophy with an inquiry-driven curriculum that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Bachelor's degree required. Connecticut Early Childhood Certification is preferred, as is prior teaching experience.
