Day to Day

* Implement a variety of instructional strategies during community-based learning.

* Follow the direction of the Special Education Teacher regarding the implementation of program accommodations and their development in the workplace.

* Assist in the development of community-based job sites in collaboration with community contacts, site supervisors, and under the supervision of the Transition Specialist and Special Education Teacher.

* Communicate student progress with teachers, BCBA and related service providers.

Qualifications

* Must have earned an associate degree or higher OR achieve a passing score on the ETS Para Pathways Assessment.

* Strong communication skills.

* Experience working with children or adolescents in school or educational settings preferred.

* Skilled in data collection practices.

* Experience working with teens or adults with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families preferred.
