LEARN, Southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, invites candidates to apply for a part-time Physical Therapist opening to support our students in the region for the  school year.

Day to Day
  • Collaborate with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to create comprehensive student programming.
  • Administer screenings, assessments and direct interventions with students.
  • Collaboratively develop IEPs to support students to access and engage in their learning and school environments.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress through ongoing data collection, analysis and review meetings.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree (or equivalent).
  • DPH Licensure in Physical Therapy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of developmental milestones and evidence-based assessments and interventions.
  • In-depth understanding of students with complex needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
