LEARN, Southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, invites compassionate and skilled candidates to apply for an anticipated Registered Nurse (RN) opening at the Ocean Avenue LEARNing Academy in New London, Connecticut. The RN will provide direct medical care, educational programing, and support to students with complex medical needs, working closely with families, educators, and related service providers to ensure the health and well-being of all students.

- Provide daily medical care and monitoring for students with chronic health conditions, disabilities, or complex medical needs.
- Administer medications, tube feedings, and treatments according to individualized health care plans (IHCPs).
- Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
- Develop, implement, and update IHCPs in collaboration with physicians, families, and school staff.
- Train and support staff on health-related procedures and emergency responses.
- Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and district regulations.
- Communicate regularly with families, healthcare providers, and school teams regarding student health needs.
- Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Experience working with children and/or individuals with special healthcare needs preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- CPR certification (required; training provided if needed).
- $41,898 to $82,165 annually.
