Position Overview
Warehouse Clerk – Land 'N' Sea Distributing, Old Lyme, Wisconsin. Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday 9:00 am–7:00 pm;
Monday 11:00 am–9:00 pm.
- Operate forklift or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse.
- Comply with all quality standards and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including cleaning equipment, performing safety inspections, and ensuring a tidy environment.
- Accurately pick, pack, and ship parts, supporting quick turnaround of orders.
- Retrieve correct parts from shelves, identify part numbers, and verify proper quantities.
- Determine shipment method and pack accordingly.
- Verify packaging and contents for conformance to company specifications.
- Receive and unpack merchandise, verifying delivery accuracy.
- Perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
- Confirm proper location of merchandise and ensure production area organization and cleanliness.
- Stock shelves by placing material in appropriate locations.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent.
- Dependable attendance and a willingness to be a team player.
- Prior forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Basic computer skills are helpful.
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus.
Employee frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, balance, lift, and move materials. Walkways consist of concrete or metal grating. Occasionally lift up to 50 lb and frequently up to 20 lb. Exposure to high or precarious places, as well as hot, cold, and dusty warehouse environments.
Compensation and BenefitsAnticipated starting pay range: $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
