Warehouse Clerk

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Old Lyme on a weekend shift. The position is available Friday‑Sunday 9:00 am‑7:00 pm and Monday 11:00 am‑9:00 pm.

• Operate forklift or hand truck to move equipment and parts within the warehouse.
• Comply with all quality standards and policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; perform safety inspections.

• Accurately pick, pack, and ship parts to ensure quick turnaround.
• Remove correct parts from shelves, identify part numbers, and ensure proper quantity.
• Determine shipping method and pack accordingly.
• Count, weigh, measure, or examine packaging and contents for conformance to specifications.

• Receive and unpack merchandise, verifying accuracy of deliveries.
• Perform general labor tasks – loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Confirm proper location and organization of merchandise.
• Stock shelves in appropriate locations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable attendance and team player.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior warehouse experience a plus.

The job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, balancing, and use of arms and hands. Walkways are concrete and/or metal grating. The employee may lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently. Exposure to high, precarious places, hot or cold, dusty environments.
