Responsibilities:
- Plan activities and lessons that are developmentally appropriate
- Design a daily and weekly schedule
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
- Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s day
- Keep your classroom, toys, materials clean and well organized
- Take pride in your classroom and the care and safety of the children
- Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
- Strong understanding of child development
- Patient, kind, nurturing and a team player
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- First aid/CPR certified
