Shift: Monday–Friday. Travel required as needed for coverage between offices.

Provides basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care within the Medical Assistant scope of education. The Medical Assistant receives continued training in all aspects of the role and provides direct patient care under the direction of a provider, including vitals, medication reconciliation, screenings, patient history, health maintenance, advance directives, and virtual health. The position also provides indirect patient care such as scheduling, check‑in/out, referrals, chart preparation, and prior authorizations, and conducts point‑of‑care testing with quality control and documentation.
Travel is required as needed for coverage between offices.
- Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic certification OR relevant experience as outlined below.
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of hire or transfer.
- All required credentials maintained throughout employment.
- At least one year of experience in direct patient care (acute or ambulatory) may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
- Relevant experience or an MA externship in a busy medical office preferred.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred.
