Apple Rehab Saybrook is a 100‑bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation community located along the shoreline in Old Saybrook, CT.

Starting Pay:
Competitive rates ranging from $20–$25 per hour.

• Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends
• Additional Shift Differential:
  Extra $5.00 per hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours

• Temporary Full‑time – 32 hours per week through 6/15
• Per Diem

• Assist residents with daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed.
• Document personal care provided according to facility policies.
• Provide nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measuring and recording temperature, weight, pulse and respiration.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition, including skin breakdowns, to supervisor.
• Report all accidents or injuries immediately.
• Enter all necessary charting entries.
• Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

• Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow‑through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward residents and their support networks.

• Per diem staff are expected to fulfill two weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
