Registered Nurse Supervisor Per Diem

Apple Rehab Saybrook is a 100-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation community located along the shoreline in Old Saybrook, CT.

The RN Registered Nurse Shift Supervisor plans, controls, and executes nursing services required by residents. Supervises day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring the highest quality of care in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.

In collaboration with the Nursing Director, the RN Shift Supervisor plans the operation of nursing services and emergency support during tours of duty, coordinates nursing activities, adjusts care plans for emergency medical needs, and ensures proper staffing.

In the absence of superiors, the RN Shift Supervisor assumes responsibility for operating decisions, manages emergency situations, and ensures relay of critical information to residents’ physicians.

• Current state RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of verifiable experience as an RN in a supervisory capacity in a skilled nursing facility.
• Attention to detail, strong follow‑through skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of general rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long‑term care.

Rate of pay: $45 per hour for all RN Registered Nurse Supervisors with SNF experience.
