Oberlin Street Nursery is located in the Greenacres area of Oldham, making it easily accessible for those commuting from Oldham and surrounding areas. We are rated Good by Ofsted, with positive judgements across the quality of education, behaviour and personal development, and leadership and management. We have a capacity of 48 places offering full-day childcare for children from babies through preschool age (0–5 years).

In the recent months Our playrooms have been carefully redesigned to create bright, welcoming, and stimulating environments that inspire curiosity and learning. Each room features clearly defined learning areas for craft, construction, role-play, reading, and sensory exploration, allowing children to engage in purposeful play at their own pace.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the nursery clean and tidy, reporting any potential maintenance issues to the Maintenance team:

• To clean all areas of the day nursery including toilets, kitchen, play rooms and staff areas
• To clean all surfaces of the day nursery including floors, paintwork, tiles and walls.
• Report any maintenance issues that prevent safe and efficient cleaning of these areas.
• To remove all bottles and recyclable materials to the relevant position or bin and ensuring anything recyclable is recycled.
• Ensuring that shortages do not prevent cleaning.
• Ensure all high and low level dusting is completed.
• To be committed to the safeguarding of all children

This role is 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day - 5pm-8pm or 6pm to 9pm
