Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Emerald Teaching is recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant in Oldham to support pupils within a local school.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Teaching Assistant who holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and is confident supporting pupils in the classroom.

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with their learning in the classroom
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required
• Help pupils stay engaged and make progress
• Support positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Assist with the preparation of classroom activities and resources

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant job in Oldham, you should have:

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working with children in a school or education setting
• Good communication and classroom support skills
• A positive and reliable approach to working with pupils
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a new DBS check
• The right to work in the UK
