The Electro Soldering Assembler is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components and subassemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires precision, consistency, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality electronic products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual soldering of electronic components using soldering irons and related tools
- Assemble electronic parts, circuit boards, and subassemblies per specifications
- Read and follow work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Inspect solder joints and assemblies for defects, accuracy, and workmanship
- Perform rework or touch-up soldering as required
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Report defects, material issues, or process concerns to supervisors
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic experience or training in electronic assembly or soldering
- Ability to work with small components and hand tools
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Experience with through-hole and/or surface-mount soldering
- IPC certification (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)
- Familiarity with electronic components and manufacturing environments
- Full Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plan
- Flexible 4
-10 hour days and 3 days off. - Work Schedule Monday-Thursday
- Both 1st and 2nd shift available
- Hourly pay $20-28 hourly, DOE
