Inspector, Manufacturing ​/ Production, Quality Technician​/ Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections of in-process and completed cables using established methods, setups, and specifications.
• Utilize measuring devices, blueprints, diagrams, and inspection instructions to ensure product quality.
• Identify, accept, reject, or rework defective units or systems as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve quality issues.
• Follow and uphold quality standards in line with IPC-A-620 guidelines for soldered and crimped cable assemblies.
• Support the team by taking on assembly tasks related to inspection areas when needed.
• Document and track inspection findings and maintain accurate records.
• Proactively monitor and verify quality compliance in accordance with statistical or process control procedures.
• Communicate and interface diplomatically with various departments, customers, and stakeholders to address quality concerns.
• Maintain proficiency with PCs and modern software applications.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong background in cable inspection and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with soldered and crimp inspections per IPC-A-620 standards.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, parts lists, and IPC manuals.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain documentation and adhere to revision control protocols.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across diverse teams.
• Prior experience with inspection in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Proficiency with personal computers and relevant applications.
• No degree is required.

Shift Details:
Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM EST to 2:00 AM, with potential overtime on weekends. Candidates must complete a medical screening as part of the selection process.
