Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a 2nd Shift Inspector and play a critical part ensuring the quality of circuit card assemblies. This position is perfect for detail-oriented professionals with hands-on experience in solder inspection and a keen eye for conformance to IPC standards. [Responsibilities]
- Perform precise visual inspections of solder and conformal coating on circuit card assemblies per IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 requirements
- Interpret process instructions, technical drawings, and inspection checklists to ensure compliance with manufacturing and industry standards
- Operate various measuring tools such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scales for accurate inspections
- Record inspection results, report non-conformances, and communicate effectively with production and quality teams
- Maintain adherence to revision control, documentation, and checklists for traceability and quality assurance
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and uphold the highest quality standards
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience inspecting solder connections for both surface mount and plated thru hole components to IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards
- Proven ability to navigate IPC standards and identify accept/reject criteria
- Strong attention to detail with proficiency in interpreting technical documents, drawings, and work instructions
- Skilled communicator, able to document defects and interface with all operational levels
- Proficient in personal computer use for documentation and tracking
- Willingness to work 2nd shift hours (3:30 PM-2:00 AM, Monday-Thursday) with occasional weekend overtime
[Preferred Skills]
- Additional experience in advanced inspection techniques or quality certifications
