PCB Electrical Assembler
This role involves performing hands-on assembly, soldering, inspection, and testing of electronic and mechanical components, including circuit boards and subassemblies in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components such as PCBs, modules, frames, cables, and small parts.
- Perform SMT and PTH soldering, including rework and touch-ups.
- Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and rework of assemblies including prototypes.
- Package finished products and assist with process improvements.
- Operate PCB-related equipment including wave solder, solder fountain, and pinning machines.
- Perform conformal coating, cleaning, potting, and testing processes.
Essential
Skills:
- Experience with PCB assembly and soldering (SMT/PTH).
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards.
- Experience with small mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies such as gears, springs, and subassemblies.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new equipment and processes.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with electronic testing equipment.
- IPC Certifications.
- Strong soldering experience on circuit cards, including rework and familiarity with terms like ball grid array (BGA).

Work Environment:
The work environment is a large manufacturing facility in Oldsmar, Florida, which is highly regulated and safety-conscious. It is climate-controlled and air-conditioned, with well-spaced workstations for each employee. Must be open to both shifts listed below.
1st shift is 5am - 3:30pm Monday
- Thursday w/ Fridays scheduled off
2nd shift is 3:30pm - 2am Monday
- Thursday w/ Fridays scheduled off

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLDSMAR, FL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
