** THE WORK*
* Our factory manufactures circuit card assemblies, cables, sub‑assemblies, and integrated systems What you will be doing as a Quality Engineering Aide Sr, you will play a key role in driving quality and inspection process improvements and optimizing our manufacturing operations You will work in close collaboration with quality engineering and the operations team to work on a wide range of projects, from process auditing, quality inspection methods implementation and floor support to inspection team You will collaborate with cross functional teams to investigate quality issues, drive defect avoidance, process inspection instruction changes and provide technical support and guidance to quality staff
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance product quality
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and utilizing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive process documentation, including inspection instructions and standard inspection procedures
- Collaborating with cross functional teams, including production, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes
- Fielding technical questions related to IPC 610 and IPC 620 standards
- Conducting experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systems

* Basic Qualifications:
*
* - Minimum 2 years of manufacturing quality or related experience Direct technician experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, IPC 610/620 acceptability standards and quality control methods
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including schematics and wire run lists
** Desired
Skills:
*
* - Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Associate's degree in Engineering technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or Solid Works
- Ability to walk up and down stairs, as well as stand for long periods of time, in order to access and troubleshoot equipment on the production floor
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stretch in order to perform equipment maintenance and repairs

** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits
** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
