Desired Qualifications
  • Master of Arts, Master of Science, or Master of Education degree
  • Certification (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist (open to candidates obtaining licensure)
  • Three years of experience across a broad student age range
  • Advanced diagnostic, evaluative, and counseling abilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct timely psychological evaluations and communicate results to parents and team members
  • Meet with families for evaluation feedback and teach effective strategies
  • Observe students in-class and perform assessments, including kindergarten evaluations
  • Serve on CSE, CPSE, and 504 committees
  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis support to students as needed
  • Consult with colleagues and assist with crisis intervention
  • Maintain confidentiality and foster positive relationships within the district
