Your Impact
Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This fast‑paced, rewarding role is best suited for responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated individuals who are willing to travel and eager to learn and grow in the telecom industry.
This is a regional position; candidates should reside in Olean, New York.
- Maintain cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing or replacing components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
- Complete daily work reports accurately and promptly.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards.
- Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnight stays; company pays travel costs and provides per diem.
- Drive to remote work sites as needed.
- Work outdoors in ambient temperatures.
- Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). annual salary/DOE. Actual compensation is influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, and location.
