Job Summary: The Training Coordinator is responsible for improving the productivity of the organization's employees in accordance with established SOPs. The primary duty is to perform a wide variety of training activities across all departments in the operation, including facilitation, MHE Driver Certification, training organization and scheduling, training new trainers, and assisting in path as needed. This position requires training and administrative experience with a basic understanding of adult education best practices.
EssentialFunctions
- Plans, organizes, and conducts employee training on various functional skill areas.
- Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
- Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes that training could improve.
- Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
- Facilitates applicable portions of New Hire Orientation.
- Maintains records of successful completion of training.
- Assists in creating an annual Training Calendar.
- Leads MHE training and recertification, as well as other safety trainings.
- Evaluates performance of current trainers.
- Conducts training audits to evaluate training efficacy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Ability to effectively give and receive feedback in a professional and respectful manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong administrative and data management skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Willingness to operate MHE and become MHE certified.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to operate basic office and audiovisual equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Moderate but varying temperature and humidity in office and warehouse environments.
- Must be able to stand, sit, squat, lift and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate MHE.
- 1 year of applicable training experience.
Starting base pay: $20.00 – $21.40 per hour. Certain work schedules may also be eligible for shift differential pay.
