Job SummaryWe're looking for a high-energy, creative, and focused Digital Content Producer to join our award-winning news team. This is a critical newsroom role. We're looking for excellent writers and communicators, multi-tasking professionals, and experts ready to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Responsibilities- Adopt a digital-first mindset. You will work closely with our Digital Content Manager and own our digital and social media coverage.
- Work closely with MMJs in the field and with producers and anchors in the newsroom.
- Work closely with our team of meteorologists and help provide life-saving emergency weather information to our audience on multiple platforms.
- Develop contacts and sources across our television market.
- A four-year degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Team player mindset.
