Chemours is seeking a Production Leader in DeLisle, MS to lead the Purification and Oxidation area. The role reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on safe operations, cost, quality, reliability, and productivity.
Responsibilities- Ensure safe and environmentally sound operation & maintenance of a high hazard process.
- Serve as main Operations interface and point of contact for coordination of production.
- Lead the area to set and meet cost, quality, reliability, and productivity objectives.
- Lead and develop the Operations First Line Supervisors.
- Develop short to mid‑term area plans and organize team members to execute the plans.
- Provide direction to the area maintenance/technical teams in support of site goals and serve as point of contact for improvement projects.
- Accountable for meeting cost targets (fixed and variable).
- Champion best practices and effective administration of systems and tools to direct continuous improvement for implementation of the Chemours Business System (CBS).
- Integrate Capital/Change of Design plans into asset schedule.
- Interface with maintenance and contract administration on work performed by site maintenance and contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment or other technical field.
- Demonstrated understanding of safety procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and ability to work with a diverse population of employees and contractors.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
- Demonstrated capability to drive results.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and lead change.
- Process Safety Management within High Hazard Process Operations, preferably in the chemicals industry.
- Work experience in processes handling highly toxic materials (HTM’s).
- Previous line supervision experience in manufacturing.
- Experience driving Lean manufacturing principles and implementation of production systems.
- Familiarity with the SAP/R3 module in finance/cost management and Work Management Process (WMP).

Annual Bonus Target: 11%
