Failure Analysis Technician; 1st Shift

Job Overview

HYVE Solutions is seeking a detail‑oriented, hands‑on, results‑driven Failure Analysis Technician. The role supports manufacturing and customer service teams by replicating, troubleshooting field failures, and driving technical issues to closure in a fast‑paced environment.

• Provide support to manufacturing and customer service teams, replicating and troubleshooting field failures.
• Drive technical issues to closure by working with internal and field engineers to identify, track, root cause, and resolve issues.
• Perform PCBA‑level troubleshooting and component‑level FA to identify root causes of hardware failures.
• Use diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, thermal imaging cameras, X‑ray, and others.
• Troubleshoot power delivery issues, signal integrity problems, and component defects on hyperscale servers.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal teams in support of overall company objectives.

• One year of equivalent industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science is a plus.

Works on problems of moderate scope, exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action, builds productive internal/external working relationships, and is comfortable in a fast‑moving business and team environment.

• Excellent communication skills—written and verbal.

• Self‑starter and highly motivated.
• Comfortable with extensive use of computer equipment, frequent telephone activity, and periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing.
• Ability to bend and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
