General Job Responsibilities
Community Bank Lender/Office Managers provide an essential service to both the Bank and the customer and include a variety of functions that may differ from bank to bank. Staff may perform functions from one or more specialized areas as described below and provide other bank services. Lender/Office Managers must possess a thorough knowledge of all bank products and services, fully understand and adhere to all federal and state laws and the policies of the Bank, and are able to communicate effectively with the customer and staff.
This position requires communication, and problem-solving skills. Lender/Officer Managers report to a designated Officer.
Also responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships through providing banking solutions to fit the client’s needs. This role includes evaluating information to help discover the client’s needs and providing well thought out solutions. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and motivated to assist our clients with their growing needs while providing exceptional customer service.
Lender/Office Managers – Staff in this position may perform the functions listed below:
- Monitors staff leave issues and ensure all bank functions are adequately staffed
- Fills in as needed in teller and customer service representative positions
- Supervises some staff functions such as switchboard and receptionist
- Verifies and adjusts time cards as needed
- Assists with human resource functions
- Provides training to new staff; provide cross-training and in-service to all staff.
- Performs daily cash balancing
- Prepares various daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Assists auditors as required
- Assists with ATM
- Provide customer assistance
- May oversee facility maintenance
- Handles supplies
- Conducts regular office meetings
- Other duties as assigned by management
Education
Graduation from high school or equivalent GED required; some college or post graduate technical training preferred.
Experience
A minimum of two year’s banking experience is preferred.
