Resolution Specialist, DC Seller Disputes

What you’ll do- Evaluate and resolve seller disputes with a focus on accuracy and fairness.
- Prioritize solutions that support seller success while maintaining compliance with company policies.
- Document dispute outcomes with clear, concise, and fact‑based written reports.
- Maintain a professional tone in all written communications to ensure clarity and respect.
- Identify and analyze patterns of fraud and risk in dispute cases.
- Provide sellers with advice and best practices to prevent future disputes and minimize risks.
- Thoroughly review all relevant information and evidence before making decisions on seller disputes.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and free of errors.
- Show empathy towards sellers while maintaining objectivity.
- Use analytical skills to detect patterns and identify potential fraud or risk.
- Make data‑driven decisions to support dispute resolution and fraud prevention.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in all written documentation.
- Anticipate potential issues and provide proactive solutions to prevent future disputes.
- Continuously seek ways to improve seller dispute resolution processes and outcomes.
- Maintain high ethical standards in all actions and decisions concerning seller disputes.
- Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others adapt to change or new challenges.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzing and applying information from multiple sources; monitoring progress and results; and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.
- 2 years’ experience in disputes, claims, or financial or operational investigation work.
- Prior work experience in consultative claims handling.
- Prior work experience in fraud or risk detection.
