Parkwood Behavioral Health System (a UHS facility) provides behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid‑South region and has been in business since 1987. It is located in Desoto County, in the northwest corner of Mississippi, approximately 7 miles south of Memphis.

The Patient Transportation Driver provides transportation of patients to and from outpatient treatment daily in a safe and professional manner. The position also transports patients to and from medical appointments as needed. The driver works closely with a dispatcher, performs pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, and must understand how to operate GPS devices and cell phones. All duties are performed as assigned.

The facility offers a full continuum of care that includes a 148‑bed inpatient acute and residential care facility, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.

Job Requirements

• Education: Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of driving experience. Prefer driving experience in a school, hospital, or hospitality setting.
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Mississippi or Tennessee driver’s license with F endorsement or commercial driver license.
• Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of Mississippi/Tennessee traffic safety laws.
