Maintenance Tech Lead
As the Maintenance Tech Lead at Milwaukee Tool, you will direct and coach a team of technicians to support day‑to‑day operations, ensuring high morale, safety compliance, and efficient production.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of technicians in daily facility operations.
- Work with the supervisor to maintain appropriate staffing levels and act as backup in their absence.
- Foster morale among associates, providing feedback, recognition, and rewards.
- Conduct or delegate shift start‑up meetings and communicate updates on culture, safety, production, accuracy, recognition, and facility/HR topics.
- Ensure timely, ongoing communication with department leaders to prioritize repairs and maintain peak production.
- Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes.
- Develop technicians to meet warehouse standards and regulations.
- Maintain and enforce a clean and safe working environment.
- Drive safety culture and hold team members accountable for compliance.
- Serve as the go‑to person for a cohesive team committed to departmental success.
- Support cross‑departmental collaboration and contribute to overall success.

Manufacturing environment with frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating manual pallet jacks. Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 70 lbs. Work may be performed under varying temperature conditions.
Physical DemandsRequires continuous standing, frequent walking, bending, twisting, push/pull, and climbing stairs or ladders (infrequent). Ability to lift up to 30 lbs continuously and up to 70 lbs occasionally. Must use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and leather shoes while operating equipment.
