Dock Associate
Dock Associate
Job DescriptionIn this role you will be responsible for wrapping pallets and loading pallets into trucks, as well as moving product to staging lanes and production lines.
Responsibilities- Drive forklift/pallet jack to load and move pallets
- Wrap pallets, record weight, and stage pallet to be loaded
- Load product into trailer
- Ensure all cargo receive the correct paperwork
- Locate pallets by freight bill and assign labels
- Seal and release trailers
- Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of area
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school education or equivalent
- 1 year experience operating forklift/pallet jack in a production/distribution facility
Manufacturing Plant
- Driving motorized equipment for long periods of time
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes
- Work in various temperature conditions
- Operation of motorized electric pallet jack experience
