The role involves preparing CNC machines for production, loading raw materials, and overseeing machining operations from start to finish. You will read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings, perform test runs, and adjust machine settings to achieve precise results.

In addition, you will inspect and measure finished components to verify accuracy and compliance with quality requirements, complete production documentation, and support safe, organized workflows on the shop floor.

** What You Will Do?*
* + Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for drilling, milling, and other machining tasks according to defined specifications and work instructions.

+ Prepare and operate CNC machines by selecting programs, setting parameters, and configuring tools to complete assigned production operations accurately.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to determine machining requirements, tolerances, and sequence of operations for each job.

+ Load raw materials and parts onto CNC machines, ensuring correct positioning, clamping, and alignment to support safe and accurate machining.

+ Perform test runs on CNC machinery and adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to meet dimensional specifications and quality standards.

+ Monitor machine operations during production and make necessary adjustments to parameters or tooling to maintain optimal machining results.

+ Inspect and measure finished products using precision measurement tools such as calipers to verify accuracy, tolerances, and overall quality.

+ Perform routine maintenance and daily checks on CNC equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting to support reliable operation.

+ Maintain accurate job logs, routers, and related documentation to record production details, part counts, and any deviations from specifications.

+ Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with safety standards, while supporting team scheduling, training, and workflow coordination as needed.

** Your Skills*
* + High School Diploma or equivalent, providing the foundational education required for technical CNC machine operation responsibilities.

+ Certificate or diploma from a trade school is preferred, demonstrating formal training in machining, manufacturing, or related technical disciplines.

+ Proven experience operating CNC machinery, including CNC mills and lathes, in a production or manufacturing environment with documented responsibilities.

+ Proficiency with precision measurement tools, specifically calipers, to accurately inspect parts and verify dimensions against engineering specifications.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings, including blueprints and mechanical drawings, to guide machining processes correctly.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills, enabling effective setup, calculations, and adjustments required for precise CNC machining work.

+ Attention to detail and a results-driven approach, ensuring consistent adherence to specifications, quality requirements, and established production standards.
