Key Responsibilities
- Research unidentified or missing items not found in the company system
- Scan and analyze barcodes, UPCs, and serial numbers
- Use online tools, manufacturer websites, and databases to identify products
- Verify product details such as brand, model, condition, and specifications
- Create accurate and complete product listings for online sale
- Upload product information, photos, and pricing to e-commerce platforms
- Ensure listings meet company quality and compliance standards
- Resolve discrepancies in inventory records
- Work closely with warehouse, fulfillment, and management teams
- Maintain organized documentation of research and findings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
- Previous experience in inventory, e-commerce, or product listing preferred
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze barcodes, labels, and packaging
- Familiarity with online marketplaces and product databases
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory software, web research)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, eBay, Shopify, etc.)
- Knowledge of UPC/EAN databases and product catalogs
- Basic photography skills for product listings
- Understanding of pricing and market trends
- Warehouse and office setting
- May require standing, lifting, and moving inventory
- Fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Accuracy of product identification
- Number of items successfully researched and listed
- Listing quality and compliance rate
- Turnaround time on unresolved inventory
