Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with a MS or compact RN license and strong STEMI call experience.

• Position is located in a hospital Cath Lab within a Level I Trauma Center
• Day shift, working 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 to 17:00 with possible adjustments during interview
• STEMI call required 7 to 12 days per month, including one full weekend (Friday through Sunday)
• Weekend work is required as needed
• Floating within like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur but is rare
• No block scheduling is available
• EMR system is Cerner;
  Cerner experience is preferred
• STEMI call is a core job duty, with significant call volume including nights and weekends
• RNs are expected to provide care to cardiac patients undergoing invasive and diagnostic procedures
• Must be willing to work holiday shifts: if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall during assignment, must work 2 of the 3; if 2, must work 1
• Returning previous employees or travelers must have one year separation before returning
• All time-off requests must be included at time of application; additional requests cannot be accommodated

• Active MS or compact RN license required; pending licensure not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab RN experience required, with 3+ years preferred
• At least one completed previous travel assignment is required; no first-time travelers accepted
• Driver’s license is required for consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• ADN or higher nursing degree required for this position
• Must comply with NLC guidelines
• No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
