Registered Nurse; RN Nights

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit in accordance with Parkwood Behavioral Health philosophy and objectives.
• Prescribe, coordinate, and delegate nursing care using the nursing process integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
• Accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis.
• Promote and enhance professional nursing practice on the unit.
• Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as required.

Status:
Full-time. Hours/Days: 12‑hour shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) with rotating nights.

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; B.S.N. preferred.
• One (1) year prior psychiatric experience preferred.
• Licensed and registered in Mississippi as an RN or possess an approved multi‑state license (NCSBN).
• Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships, age‑specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management, and CPR training.
