Schedule:
12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Monday
In addition to the duties of a Registered Nurse, the RN House Supervisor supervises the delivery of nursing care provided by professional and support nursing staff on a designated unit.
QualificationsEducation: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; BSN preferred.
Experience: One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure: Licensure and registration by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, or multi-state license as approved by NCSBN.
CPR: Current CPR or BLS certification.
Knowledge: Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age-specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management and CPR training.
